We need a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer who can walk onto a fast-paced production floor, diagnose a fault before anyone's finished explaining the symptoms, and fix it — mechanical, electrical, or PLC — without needing three sign-offs.
You'll be doing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
You'll be elbow-deep in PLCs, motors, control panels and production lines.
You'll be the person breakdowns get sent to, and the person new machinery installs get built around.

What you'll actually be doing: Keeping the plant running — planned, preventative, reactive, the lot Electrical fault finding on PLCs, motors and control panels Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical and automation faults Supporting installs, refurbs and upgrades Driving continuous improvement, not just patching problems Keeping records straight and stock levels sorted Working 4 on / 4 off, days and nights What you'll need: Solid experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG Apprenticeship trained, or City
