We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team at a busy production site in Maidstone. The Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping fast-paced production machinery running efficiently through reactive and planned maintenance. You'll be involved in:
- Fault finding and repairs on production and packaging machinery
- Electrical fault finding, including checking inputs/outputs on PLC systems
- Planned preventative maintenance across site equipment
- Continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Supporting production to minimise downtime and maximise output
What We're Looking For:
- Multi-skilled engineer (electrical or mechanical bias welcomed)
- Comfortable fault finding electrically in a manufacturing environment
- Experience checking PLC inputs/outputs and diagnosing faults
- Previous experience in FMCG, food, packaging, or fast-paced manufacturing ideal
- Proactive attitude with a strong team ethic
