Shift: 2-2-3 Days | 6:30am – 6:30pm

Are you an experienced Production Team Leader who enjoys leading people, driving performance and creating a positive culture on the shop floor? We're working with a well-established food manufacturing business that is continuing to invest in its operations and people. Due to internal promotions, retirement and business growth, they're now looking to add several Team Leaders to their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable business where you'll have genuine opportunities to progress your career.

The Role

Reporting into the Production Manager, you'll take ownership of your production area, ensuring safety, quality and performance standards are achieved while motivating your team to deliver exceptional results. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing a production team to achieve daily targets
  • Driving a positive health & safety culture across the department
  • Monitoring productivity, quality and waste while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Ensuring products are manufactured to customer and food safety standards
  • Supporting training, coaching and development of team members
  • Managing attendance, performance and employee engagement
  • Working closely with Production, Engineering and Technical teams to maximise efficiency
  • Ensuring accurate production records and KPIs are maintained
  • Supporting GMP standards and housekeeping across your area

About You

We're looking for someone who can bring energy, accountability and strong leadership skills to the team. You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience leading teams within a food manufacturing environment
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • A proactive, hands-on leadership style
  • Good understanding of food safety, quality and health & safety standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
  • Experience driving performance against production KPIs
