I'm looking for a skilled Reliability Engineer to join a high-performing manufacturing operation, supporting the delivery of exceptional performance across production lines. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in creating and maintaining a world-class engineering environment focused on safety, reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational teams to improve key business performance measures while ensuring all machinery complies with Health & Safety and Environmental standards.
  • Carry out effective risk assessments, hazard elimination activities, and ensure correct PPE implementation.
  • Develop and implement robust planned maintenance programmes to minimise equipment downtime and prevent catastrophic failures.
  • Apply advanced fault-finding and root cause analysis techniques to improve reliability metrics including MTBF and MTTR.
  • Create and maintain SOPs and share engineering best practice across teams.
  • Build strong working relationships with operations, engineering, and external contractors to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Support the engineering strategy relating to maintenance, asset care, energy, and equipment performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Continuous Improvement, Asset Care, and Maintenance teams to enhance operational standards.

Skills & Experience Required

  • HNC/HND qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge within production operations.
  • Experience working with PLCs, HMIs/MMIs, and SCADA systems.
  • Understanding of safety systems including permit-to-work, isolation procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • IT literate, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
