This is a group technical role sitting across multiple UK food manufacturing sites, and the brief is simple: bring order to how technical performance is measured, reported and controlled across the business. Because at the moment, like a lot of multi-site food businesses, consistency is more “aspiration” than “system”.
What you'll actually be doing
- Group technical reporting (weekly and monthly board packs that actually mean something)
- Building and maintaining KPI systems across complaints, audits, micro and compliance
- Standardising technical processes across all sites (so “group standard” actually means something)
- Driving the shift towards paperless / digital quality and technical systems
- Supporting group technical standards and governance frameworks
- Keeping the business audit-ready across BRCGS, retailer and customer requirements
It's less about reacting to what's happened. More about making sure the business can actually see what's happening.
