We are looking to speak to Multi-skilled Engineers who are interested in joining a leading food manufacturer that has a presence globally. You will be working for a company that has a fantastic culture along with a world-class facility.

We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-skilled Engineer with either Electrical or Mechanical bias; however, you must have experience in both disciplines. In this role, your main responsibility is to ensure that production runs smoothly and planned maintenance is adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, processing equipment, packaging machinery, automated baggers, robotics etc.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues to minimise downtime and optimise production efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing equipment performance and reliability.
  • Adhering to strict food safety and quality standards, always ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to support long-term operational goals.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar engineering role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing faults in PLC-controlled machinery.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working in such a fast-paced environment, you must have experience working within the food industry or FMCG. You will need to be able to hit the ground running and get stuck in.
  • Ideally, we are looking for apprentice-trained Engineers in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
