If you are an HV Commissioning Engineer looking to scale up your career to work for a Global Energy company, then this role is for you. I am recruiting for an experienced 33kv+ Commissioning Engineer to work & support the commissioning, installation & protection testing of regional substations connected to critical infrastructure. This role will involve playing a pivotal part in testing & inspection of switchgear, supporting outages, planned plant installation to regional sites, alongside CT/VT injection testing.
The firm boasts one of the most progressive development plans internally & offers the enablement of working for a reputable global-scale brand along with market-competitive packages.
You will have adequate HV testing standards, experience in working on DNO's, ICP's, generation or renewables, & NVQ3 / HNC / HND qualification certified.
Responsibilities- Support commissioning, installation & protection testing of regional substations connected to critical infrastructure.
- Test & inspect switchgear; support outages; assist planned plant installation to regional sites; perform CT/VT injection testing.
- Β£65,000 starting base
- Uncapped door-to-door overtime at 1.5x rate
- Average take home of Β£90k-Β£110k inclusive of OT rate
- Fuel card
- Company vehicle
- 28 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
- 37.5 hour working week
