The predicted salary is between 1200 - 1600 £ per month.
To assist with the smooth running of the school reception/office undertaking administrative duties as required. This is a part-time, term time role.
- Ensuring all visitors are signed in and out of the building and met by the relevant member of staff.
- Monitoring and chasing student absences. Locating pupils where necessary.
- Organise after school clubs with the Deputy Head and communicate to parents via SOCs.
- Be the first point of call for telephone calls and deal with these as appropriate.
- Manage the office in-box and general enquiries from existing parents.
- Responsible for communication with new parents after pupils have accepted a place at Dame Bradbury's.
- Keep all pupil records on the MIS up to date - addresses, contact details, medical information etc.
- Administer first aid to students (training can be provided).
- Ordering stationery for the office and teaching staff.
- Support teaching staff and Head of School when required.
- Assist the School Office with general duties as required.

The post holder's responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/he comes into contact, will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with Stephen Perse's Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy statement at all times. If, in the course of carrying out the duties of the post, the role-holder becomes aware of any actual or potential risks to the safety or welfare of children in the School, s/he must report any concerns to the School's Designated Person or the Stephen Perse Designated Safeguarding Lead.
All employees of Stephen Perse adhere to the Safer Working Practices guidance and all teaching staff are required to adhere to the Teaching Standards which can be found on the government website. All appointments for Stephen Perse are subject to satisfactory reference and disclosure and barring service (DBS) checks, suitability to work with children checks, online checks, proof of identity and eligibility to work in the UK, completion of a medical questionnaire and proof of qualifications.
This is a term-time role, working 12:30-18:00, 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 35.2 weeks per year (to include 5 INSET days). Please note, as this role is starting part way through the academic year, the salary will be based on the remaining weeks in the academic year.
