The Stephen Longfellow Academy is seeking to recruit a reliable andcommitted colleague to the role of Minibus Driver. This is an important rolewithin the Academy, with the successful candidate responsible for providingsafe and efficient transport for students to and from sports fixtures,educational visits, trips and other academy activities. The postholder willalso undertake daily vehicle inspections, support the routine cleaning ofminibuses and, where required, assist with the supervision of young peoplewhilst travelling.
We are looking for an individual whotakes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism andreliability, and who can work flexibly to support the needs of the Academy. Thesuccessful candidate will be able to remain calm under pressure, manage theirtime effectively and contribute positively as part of a wider team.
Potentialapplicants should have:
- A fullclean driving licence including D1.
- Highlevels of concentration.
- Theability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellenttime management skills.
- Areliable and flexible approach to work.
