The team works across a wide range of private equity transactions, so the role is hands-on and varied. You will get exposure to different parts of each deal. It’s a collaborative environment where you can see how transactions come together from start to finish and build a strong understanding of the full private equity lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
- Contributing to due diligence by reviewing fund documents and helping prepare reports, checklists, timetables, and managing data rooms.
- Helping with investor onboarding and liaising with compliance.
- Getting involved in due diligence and data room management.
- Assisting with closings, signing packs etc.
- Supporting the team in liaising with opposing counsel and GP counsels to facilitate efficient transaction progression and completion.
Required experience, skills, and attributes
- Minimum of 8 months experience as a paralegal (PE, Funds, Finance, M&A).
- Organised, proactive, and able to work to deadlines.
- Experience with deals / due diligence / closings.
