We're working exclusively with a large, internationally active technology business on an interim Real Estate Counsel hire to support a significant and time-critical property workstream as part of a major post-acquisition integration programme. The Opportunity
- You will be leading on the asset transfer process across a large volume of commercial leases - obtaining landlord consents, managing the transfer mechanics and working through the portfolio systematically.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and manage a high-volume portfolio of commercial leases in connection with an asset transfer programme.
- Obtain and track landlord consents across a large number of landlords and lease arrangements.
- Advise on the mechanics of UK asset transfers in the context of a corporate integration.
- Liaise with and instruct external counsel on specialist matters including Scottish leases.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across legal, corporate and property teams.
- Drive the workstream forward autonomously, managing volume and pace to meet the October deadline.
About You
- England & Wales qualified, c.3-5 PQE.
- Strong commercial real estate background - ideally with experience of lease assignments, landlord consents and property transfers in a corporate or transactional context.
- Comfortable managing high volumes of matters simultaneously and working to tight deadlines.
- Pragmatic, organised and able to hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding.
- Experience of post-acquisition integration or corporate restructuring contexts a significant advantage.
- Scottish property law experience useful but not essential - external counsel will be instructed for Scottish matters.
