A global digital payments business is looking for a talented Marketing Lawyer to join their Legal team on an interim basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to shape marketing campaigns and ensure they’re fully compliant in a fast-moving payments environment.
The Opportunity
- Advise the Marketing and Product teams on campaigns, promotions, and digital communications.
- Ensure all marketing activity complies with financial regulations and consumer protection rules.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, supplier contracts, and promotional terms.
- Collaborate across Product, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to deliver compliant, customer-friendly campaigns.
- Work with external counsel where needed to ensure efficient legal support.
About You
- Qualified solicitor, trained and qualified at a recognised law firm, with 4–8 PQE.
- Strong experience in payments, financial services marketing, or consumer finance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Commercially minded, pragmatic, and able to balance risk with business objectives.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative, cross-functional environment.
