A global law firm is seeking an Immigration Lawyer to join its established team in London. The role will involve advising a range of corporate and individual clients on UK immigration matters, supporting both day-to-day advisory work and longer-term strategic projects. This is an opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, providing high-quality legal support across a broad spectrum of immigration issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on a range of UK immigration matters, including both corporate and private client work
- Managing a varied caseload, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and in line with client expectations
- Preparing and submitting visa applications, sponsorship licence applications, and related documentation
- Supporting corporate clients with compliance obligations, including right to work and sponsor duties
- Keeping up to date with changes in immigration law and policy, and communicating these to clients where relevant
- Liaising with government bodies and other external stakeholders as required
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex matters and contributing to team initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Qualified lawyer with 2+ PQE experience in UK immigration law
- Experience advising corporate clients is desirable
- Strong technical knowledge of UK immigration processes and requirements
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills with a client-focused approach
