We're partnering with a globally recognised organisation on an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial lawyer to join its in-house legal team based in London. The Opportunity

This is a broad, hands-on in-house role offering exposure to sophisticated commercial matters and direct involvement in key business initiatives. You'll support stakeholders throughout the full contract lifecycle, advise on legal and regulatory considerations, help manage risk across a diverse range of projects, and contribute to the continued development of legal processes and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of complex commercial agreements across multiple jurisdictions
  • Provide practical, risk-based legal advice to business stakeholders and senior leadership teams
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and commercial objectives
  • Advise on matters involving stakeholders and operations across the Middle East and African regions
  • Identify, assess and mitigate legal and commercial risks throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Coordinate with external counsel where required and manage advice efficiently and pragmatically
  • Support the development and enhancement of legal templates, policies and internal processes
  • Deliver clear, commercially focused guidance on legal issues to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Contribute to legal know-how initiatives and help drive continuous improvement within the function

About You

  • Qualified in England & Wales, or another common law jurisdiction, with 5+ years' PQE
  • Experience gained within a leading law firm and/or a sophisticated in-house legal environment
  • Strong background advising on complex commercial agreements and stakeholder-facing matters
  • Experience supporting legal matters across the Middle East and/or Africa, whether in private practice or in-house
  • Commercially minded, solutions-oriented and comfortable balancing legal risk with business objectives
  • Confident operating independently in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Adaptable, collaborative and motivated by the opportunity to work on high-impact projects with global reach
  • Experience supporting technology-enabled businesses or advising on regulatory matters would be advantageous
