The Opportunity
We are supporting multiple mandates across a range of international businesses, offering exposure to complex, cross-border privacy and data protection issues. These opportunities provide the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders across legal, compliance, technology, information security and product teams, helping organisations navigate an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. Many of our clients are investing heavily in digital transformation, AI adoption and global data governance programmes, creating exciting opportunities for lawyers looking to play a strategic role within the business.
Typical Responsibilities
- Advising on UK GDPR, EU GDPR and wider global privacy regulations
- Supporting privacy-by-design initiatives across products, platforms and services
- Drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, data sharing agreements and privacy clauses
- Advising on international data transfers and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Supporting incident response, data breaches and regulatory investigations
- Advising on AI governance, emerging technologies and digital innovation projects
- Partnering with legal, compliance, technology, security and business stakeholders globally
About You
- Strong data protection and privacy experience gained in private practice or in-house
- Experience advising on GDPR and international privacy matters
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Able to provide practical, risk-based advice within a fast-paced environment
