The Role:
- Provide strategic legal advice on digital assets, tokenisation, stablecoins, programmable payments, and other emerging technologies.
- Work closely with product, technology, and business stakeholders to develop and deliver innovative solutions.
- Advise on regulatory frameworks, including UK and international regulations affecting digital assets and distributed ledger technology (DLT).
- Support engagement with regulators, industry groups, and key external stakeholders.
- Guide compliance with financial services, payments, and retail investing regulations, as well as GDPR, KYC, and AML requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- UK Qualified lawyer with substantial experience in financial services and payments.
- Knowledge of digital assets, DLT, and evolving regulatory frameworks.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with experience in complex cross‑functional environments.
- Ability to adapt to new legal and technological developments in the digital asset ecosystem.
- Experience in product development, delivery, and regulatory compliance is desirable.
