Paralegal - Property - Leading Firm

We are working with a highly regarded law firm seeking a diligent, self-motivated, and experienced Property Paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with a Partner on a diverse range of property matters, including commercial and residential transactions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role, a proactive approach to risk management, and a strong commitment to client care. Professional training and career development opportunities will be available for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Managing freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Handling re-mortgages and refinances, including properties held in companies.
• Assisting with buy-to-let purchases and refinances.
• Preparing and filing SDLT returns.
• Drafting reports on title and mortgage documents.
• Addressing pre-contract inquiries.
• Filing registrations with Companies House and the Land Registry.
• Additional exposure to drafting commercial leases and ancillary documents, preparing CPSE replies, and organising data rooms would be advantageous.

Requirements:

• Commercial or residential paralegal experience required (minimum 1+ experience).
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
