This role would suit someone with at least 6 months relevant experience in a patent, IP, or legal support environment who is looking to build a long-term career within intellectual property. Full training and development will be provided, with a clear pathway for growth. /p p br /p p Key Responsibilities /p ul li Managing patent portfolios and diarised deadlines using in-house case management systems /li li Preparing, filing, and prosecuting patent applications with the UK IPO, EPO, and other international patent offices /li li Liaising with patent attorneys, clients, and overseas associates regarding formalities and procedural requirements /li li Drafting official correspondence and monitoring official communications from patent offices /li li Handling renewals, entry into national/regional phases, and other formality-driven processes /li li Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with procedural deadlines /li li Providing general administrative and secretarial support to fee earners as required /li /ul p br /p p Candidate Requirements /p ul li A minimum of 6 months experience in a patent paralegal, IP support, or similar legal administrative role /li li Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail /li li Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment /li li Good written and verbal communication skills /li li Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software /li li strong CIPA qualification (or working towards it) is highly desirable but not essential /strong - the firm is happy to support the right candidate towards this qualification /li /ul
