A leading blue-chip financial services organisation, operating at the forefront of the global payments industry, is seeking a Senior Commercial Contracts Paralegal to join its in-house legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal to work closely with senior legal counsel on high-value, commercially significant contracts within a fast-paced, global business.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, supplier agreements, licensing arrangements, and customer/partner contracts
- Support senior lawyers on complex commercial transactions and contract negotiations
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including tracking, renewals, and amendments
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across the business (sales, procurement, compliance, and risk) to support commercial objectives
- Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, and precedent libraries
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements
- Support due diligence and contract-related queries as needed
About You
- Minimum 2+ years' experience as a commercial contracts paralegal, ideally within financial services
- Experience within payments, banking, or a related regulated financial environment is highly desirable
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with sound commercial judgment
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership
