Interim Real Estate Lawyer | c.3-5 PQE Global Technology & Infrastructure Business We're working exclusively with a large, internationally active technology business on an interim Real Estate Counsel hire to support a significant and time-critical property workstream as part of a major post-acquisition integration programme. This is a hands-on, high-volume role with a clear deliverable and a firm deadline - ideal for a real estate lawyer who enjoys getting things done and wants to make a tangible impact from day one. You will be leading on the asset transfer process across a large volume of commercial leases - obtaining landlord consents, managing the transfer mechanics and working through the portfolio systematically. Review and manage a high-volume portfolio of commercial leases in connection with an asset transfer programme Obtain and track landlord consents across a large number of landlords and lease arrangements Advise on the mechanics of UK asset transfers in the context of a corporate integration Liaise with and instruct external counsel on specialist matters including Scottish leases Work closely with internal stakeholders across legal, corporate and property teams Strong commercial real estate background - ideally with experience of lease assignments, landlord consents and property transfers in a corporate or transactional context Scottish property law experience useful but not essential - external counsel will be instructed for Scottish matters 6-9 month contract with a clear scope and deliverable ~ Immediate or near-immediate start required ~ Hybrid office requirements (3 days in the office) Generous referral bonus for successful introductions.
