An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Interim Senior Legal Counsel to join the legal team of a leading global financial institution on an initial circa 5-month contract .
We're seeking an experienced
Leveraged & Acquisition Finance lawyer with a strong loan markets background and significant experience advising on
Term Loan B (TLB) transactions .
This is a hands-on role supporting complex domestic and cross-border financings, working alongside senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment.
The role
- Advising on a broad range of leveraged and acquisition finance transactions.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating loan documentation, with a particular focus on
Term Loan B facilities .
- Supporting transactions from origination through to execution and closing.
- Partnering with front office, Credit, Compliance, Risk and other key stakeholders to deliver commercially focused legal advice.
- Identifying and managing legal, regulatory and reputational risks across sophisticated financing transactions.
The ideal candidate
- Qualified lawyer with experience gained in private practice and/or an in-house financial institution.
- Strong
Leveraged & Acquisition Finance experience with an excellent understanding of the syndicated loan market.
- Proven expertise advising on
Term Loan B transactions is essential.
- Experience negotiating and executing complex loan documentation across domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Commercially astute, technically strong and able to manage transactions with minimal supervision.
- Available at short notice or immediately preferred.
