Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its well-established employment practice. The role offers exposure to high-quality, complex work for a diverse client base, including multinational corporations, financial institutions, and senior executives.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, working closely with colleagues across offices and practice areas. The position provides genuine scope for career development, client exposure, and involvement in strategic advisory work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on UK employment law matters, including disciplinary issues, grievances, dismissals, redundancies, and restructurings.
  • Supporting clients on employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE and workforce integration.
  • Handling employment tribunal claims and disputes, including strategy, drafting, and advocacy support.
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
  • Advising on senior executive issues, restrictive covenants, and terminations.
  • Keeping clients informed of legal developments and providing practical, commercial advice.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (3+ PQE).
  • Strong experience in employment law gained within a reputable law firm or equivalent in-house environment.
  • Confident advising clients independently and managing matters with minimal supervision.
  • Commercial, pragmatic approach with strong technical grounding.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills.
