About the Role

We are seeking ambitious and results-driven Delivery Consultants to join our London team and support our flexible legal resourcing mandates at various levels. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility from day one, combining strong candidate management skills with a keen commercial mindset at its core. You will build relationships with candidates, working closely with senior consultants to identify, engage and manage exceptional legal professionals. Alongside this, you will develop a keen awareness of market movements and the instinct to act on them.

Joining SJP at this stage means becoming part of a high-performing, collaborative and ambitious business, operating at the forefront of the evolving legal talent market. You will be part of a team that trusts people early with real work, rewards performance and creates an environment where career progression is something you drive. You will gain exposure to high-calibre clients and stakeholders, building a strong foundation across talent delivery, relationship management, and commercial development, all within a fast-growing business that genuinely invests in its people.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage and screen high-quality legal professionals, thereby building a strong pipeline of talent across the market.
  • Cultivate and maintain meaningful, long-term candidate relationships and, as such, become a trusted point of contact and a genuine expert in your space.
  • Work closely with senior consultants to drive delivery on live mandates, ensuring speed, quality and precision at every stage.
  • Own the end-to-end of candidate processes (from screening through to final offer), to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate base, to constantly position SJP ahead of the curve when live mandates arise.
  • Play an active role in market mapping and wider delivery initiatives, helping shape the direction of the business.
  • Champion a consistently high-quality candidate experience, reflecting the standard SJP is known for across the legal market.

About You

  • A strong academic background, and an interest in the legal sector (a law degree or legal exposure is a plus).
  • Experience and/or exposure to sales, talent advisory, client-facing roles, or recruitment.
  • Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills, with a natural ability to connect with people at all levels.
  • A proactive and commercial mindset, with a strong ability to spot opportunities and act on them.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing momentum.
  • Drive, resilience and self-motivation; you are energised by a high-performance environment, and you hold yourself to a high standard because you want to, not because you have to.
