Corporate Governance Professional – Large International Organisation (12-Month Contract)
Overview
A large, well-established international organisation is seeking a corporate governance professional for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role sits within a central governance function and supports a broad range of entities, offering structured processes, cross-team collaboration, and consistent exposure to core governance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support governance requirements across a varied portfolio of entities, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal obligations.
- Coordinate routine board and committee cycles, including preparing agendas, collating papers, and drafting clear, accurate minutes.
- Maintain corporate records, statutory registers, filings, and governance documentation.
- Assist with entity lifecycle matters, including incorporations, restructurings, and dissolutions.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure timely execution of governance tasks.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements of governance frameworks, processes, and controls.
- Provide support on governance-related projects and respond to ad-hoc queries as required.
Ideal Profile
- Prior experience in corporate governance, company secretarial, or entity management roles.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders at various levels.
