Client: A market-leading global investment firm that is highly regarded in the private markets space. With an extensive international presence and a dynamic investment approach, the firm specialises in private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real estate.
The Role:
- Managing legal workstreams for new fund launches and bespoke mandate structures.
- Advising on private equity fund structures, with a focus on Luxembourg-based vehicles and global investment strategies.
- Leading investor negotiations and liaising with external counsel.
- Reviewing and overseeing fund documentation, including LPAs, subscription agreements, and offering materials.
- Supporting the investment team on transactional legal matters, including due diligence, corporate structuring, and regulatory compliance.
The Profile:
- 7-8+ PQE England and Wales qualified lawyer with experience at a top international law firm and/or in-house experience within private equity.
- LP side experience required. Deep technical knowledge of private equity fund vehicles, including Luxembourg structures.
- Strong understanding of investment structures and global private equity transactions.
- Familiarity with key regulatory frameworks such as AIFMD, SFDR, and SDR.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills, with experience leading investor discussions.
- A proactive, solutions-focused team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
