Interim Commercial Property Lawyer | 5+ PQE | 12-18 Month Programme

We're working with a major telecoms business hiring an experienced property lawyer to lead a significant mobile network site acquisition and deployment programme - several hundred sites, predominantly in-building systems.

This is a genuinely high-profile, hands-on role. You'll be the sole internal point of contact for all property, telecoms and Electronic Communications Code advice on the programme, working closely with acquisition agents and internal network teams, and presenting directly at steering group level.

The Role

  • Act as sole internal POC for property, telecoms and ECC legal advice on a major site acquisition and deployment programme
  • Manage a high volume of non-contentious rights acquisition matters, securing Heads of Terms and Early Access Agreements
  • Advise on rights acquisition under the Electronic Communications Code, including strategies to reach consensual deals efficiently
  • Manage external lawyers delivering leases/agreements to programme milestones, including ECC-related litigation and case management where needed
  • Drive process improvement across governance, templates, automation and use of technology/AI
  • Provide strategic guidance on programme delivery and infrastructure/neutral host negotiations
  • Report and present on delivery to senior stakeholders

About You

  • 5+ years' PQE, with strong telecoms site agreement and property experience
  • Solid grounding in Electronic Communications Code advice and ECC litigation/case management
  • Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and steering groups
  • Comfortable operating largely self-sufficiently, with senior support available when needed

The Details

  • 12-18 month assignment
  • Flexible across major UK hub locations, with some travel to London; full-time preferred, part-time considered
  • Interim
