Banking Lawyers – Transaction Management Opportunities
AAre you a Banking & Finance lawyer looking to move closer to the business and play a more commercial role in the execution of complex lending transactions?
I’m currently working with a global financial institution that is looking to hire into its Transaction Management team on a circa 6-month contract.
This is a great opportunity for a banking lawyer to step away from purely legal advisory work and become embedded within the deal process, working directly with front-office teams to drive the execution of complex financing transactions.
Key responsibilities are likely to include:
- Leading the documentation process across bilateral and syndicated lending transactions.
- Negotiating and agreeing term sheets, facility agreements, intercreditor agreements and other finance documentation.
- Advising on transaction structuring and identifying legal and commercial risks.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for external legal counsel throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to drive transactions through to successful execution.
- Managing multiple transactions simultaneously while balancing legal, commercial and regulatory considerations.
Who we’re looking for
We’re keen to speak with lawyers who have:
- A strong Banking & Finance background, with experience advising on corporate lending transactions.
- Experience working on bilateral and/or syndicated lending transactions.
- A good understanding of LMA documentation and the UK corporate lending market.
- Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to work directly with business stakeholders.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
