We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated lawyer to join a leading global financial institution’s Corporate Equities Legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex, high‑profile transactions across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region within a collaborative, innovative environment.

Your Role

As Vice President / Assistant General Counsel, you will provide expert legal and regulatory support across a wide range of equity products and transactions. You will work closely with internal teams and external counsel, offering strategic advice, drafting and negotiating documentation, and identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal and regulatory advice from transaction inception to close.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross‑border legal teams and internal risk and control functions.
  • Advise on regulatory changes and support process improvements.
  • Analyze complex structures and offer practical, solutions‑focused guidance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualified to practice law in England & Wales or equivalent jurisdiction.
  • Strong PQE with experience in derivatives; familiarity with ISDA documentation and LMA‑style margin loans is ideal.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and risk management skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
