About the Job
Our prestigious and leading Law firm is looking to take a Commercial Property / Real Estate Paralegal. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience with quality work and develop within a dynamic, growing department.
Responsibilities of the job:
- Support fee earners with commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases and refinancing.
- Prepare and review standard documents such as licences, lease drafts, reports on title, searches and enquiries.
- Manage due diligence tasks, obtaining title documents, conducting searches, preparing CP checklists and monitoring key dates.
- Handle post completion work including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, agents and lenders, providing regular updates and progressing matters efficiently.
Job and person specification:
- Proficient working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong understanding of Land Registry processes, titles and property documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
