I’m working with a leading organisation within the advisory space looking for a Contract/Commercial Lawyer to manage their growing legal workload around contingent labour, contractors, and global mobility. This is an interim role with potential to turn permanent for the right candidate.
What the role involves:
- Managing suppliers, RPOs, and recruitment service providers.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including IR35, payroll, and employment rights compliance.
- Supporting international contracts and US/UK recruitment channels.
- Assisting with succession planning as the Head of Legal retires.
- Stepping into a high-impact role to manage temporary workload and drive legal initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified solicitor with 2–3+ years PQE (more experienced candidates also welcome).
- Has strong experience in the recruitment sector, especially contingent/contract labour.
- Is ambitious, commercially minded, and confident managing projects independently.
- Has experience with IR35, payroll, and employment rights compliance.
- Dual US qualification is a bonus.
The assignment:
- Interim 2–6 months, with potential to become permanent.
- Hybrid working: in-office 3 days, flexible elsewhere.
