A prestigious international law firm is seeking a CLO Paralegal to join its highly regarded Finance practice in London. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with 6+ months’ relevant experience to gain exposure to complex, high-value structured finance transactions within a market-leading global team.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive paralegal support on Collateralised Loan Obligation (CLO) transactions and related leveraged finance matters. Working closely with partners, associates, clients, and external parties, the role offers hands-on involvement across the full lifecycle of transactions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with CLO transactions from inception through to closing
- Drafting, reviewing, and proofreading transaction documentation
- Managing and tracking conditions precedent and closing deliverables
- Coordinating deal timetables and maintaining transaction bibles
- Liaising with clients, arrangers, trustees, and other professional advisers
- Conducting legal and factual research as required
- Providing general administrative and paralegal support to the wider finance team
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a structured finance, or CLO-focused paralegal role
- Strong academic background and a clear interest in structured finance
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
