Our client, is seeking a proactive transactionalparalegal to join their banking and finance team as an Asset Trade Paralegal. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with at least six months of relevant paralegal experience who is looking to develop within a high-performing and supportive finance practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting lawyers on a range of asset trade, asset-backed, and structured finance transactions.
- Drafting, reviewing, and proofing transaction documents such as assignment agreements, transfer certificates, confidentiality agreements, and novation documents.
- Supporting the execution and closing of complex financial deals, including preparation of completion bibles and transaction checklists.
- Conducting legal due diligence and verifying documentation to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Liaising with clients, counterparties, and internal teams to coordinate transaction steps and maintain accurate deal records.
- Managing and maintaining databases, document management systems, and assisting in post-completion administration.
- Providing general support to the Banking and Finance team on ad hoc legal and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- A law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- 6+ months’ experience as a paralegal within a banking, finance, or transactional team (asset trade, structured finance, or loan transactions preferred).
