Nantucket Terminal

The Steamship Authority is currently accepting applications to fill full-time, seasonal positions of Dock Workers at the Nantucket Terminal.

Responsibilities include docking vessels, ticket handling, assisting in staging and directing traffic around terminal area, security checks of passengers and vehicles along with other duties assigned by supervisor. This is a forty hour a week seasonal, union position. Applicants must be friendly, courteous, and enjoy working with, and assisting customers. Starting pay is $28.19 per hour and increases to $30.17 on April 20, 2025. After 90 days of work, salary increases to $31.17 per hour.
