We’re Almond Family Pubs – a proud, independent family-owned pub group known for doing things properly, and we’re looking for a brilliant Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at The Station House in Cheadle Hulme. The Station House is our newest and largest pub - a busy, premium, food-led site with 200 indoor covers and a further 230 outside. Since opening, it has quickly established itself as a hugely popular part of the local community, serving fresh, quality food alongside the pub classics our guests know and love.

This is a high-volume kitchen, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys a busy service, takes real pride in their section and cares about consistency, presentation and quality. You’ll work alongside an experienced senior kitchen team and have plenty of opportunity to learn, develop and progress within the business.

We’re looking for a Chef de Partie who can:

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with company standards
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen
  • Maintain food hygiene and safety standards at all times
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all meals served
  • Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Work efficiently to meet service deadlines
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused kitchen environment

We're hoping our next Chef de Partie has:

  • Previous experience in a busy kitchen, ideally as a CDP or strong Commis Chef
  • Good understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • Confident running a section and working independently
  • Passion for fresh food and delivering great quality dishes
  • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the role
  • Basic knowledge of stock control and portioning
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy service times
  • A positive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality
