We’re Almond Family Pubs – a proud, independent group known for doing things properly. We’re about to launch an exciting newly refurbished and rebranded premium pub in Cheadle Hulme (currently Platform 5) and we’re looking for excellent Kitchen Assistants to support the kitchen team. With 200 indoor covers and a further 230 outside, this is a big, busy, food‑led site that will be a true community hub. Expect a fresh, seasonal menu, classic pub favourites with a premium twist. Kitchen Assistant Responsibilities
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Wash pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with basic food prep when needed
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard
- Help with unloading and storing deliveries
- Keep fridges, freezers, and dry stores organised
- Empty bins and manage waste safely
- Support chefs and kitchen team during busy periods
- Follow hygiene, health, and safety procedures
- Be a reliable and supportive part of the kitchen team
