About the Role

This is your opportunity to join a dedicated team of support staff who are committed to providing the best possible education for our pupils. Star Radcliffe Academy is a new and ambitious secondary school at the heart of Radcliffe, a five‐form entry, 750‐place academy for 11‐16 year olds, opened its doors in September 2024 with our founding Year 7 cohort, and will be at full capacity by September 2028.
Responsibilities
- Help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for our young people.
- Provide pastoral support and place learners' welfare at the heart of the school.
- Support staff and students in their daily activities and interventions.
- Deliver excellent customer service to our community.
- Maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
- Deliver presentations in front of large and small groups as required.
Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9‐4 / A‐C.
- Experience of working with young people in an education setting.
- Experience of providing pastoral support within an education setting.
- Excellent organisational and technical skills.
- Strong problem‐solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills – ability to speak in front of large groups of students and small groups of staff.
