Location: Ferry Road Markets, Southport
Are you passionate about food and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment? The Standard Market Company is a leading gourmet food retailer, and we’re looking for motivated, reliable, and professional individuals to join our Production Kitchen team. Located at the vibrant Ferry Road Markets, our kitchen produces high-quality food products for our Quench juice bars, Delis, and other outlets across the region.
We create a wide range of offerings, including fresh salads, gourmet sandwiches, ready-made meals, and seasonal specialties – all prepared with premium ingredients and a focus on quality.
Responsibilities & Availability
- Experienced Chefs/Cooks – Full Time hours available
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm
- Work in a fast-paced kitchen producing high-quality meals
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and storing stock and kitchen equipment
- Strong communication skills and English proficiency
- Previous experience in a commercial or production kitchen setting
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
- Well-presented and professional appearance
- Availability during peak holiday seasons
