Your role as Double Standard Restaurant Manager will involve managing the team and service to ensure everything runs smoothly. Your excellent knowledge of food and drinks, passion for service, high-level experience in restaurant operations, order of service and guest experience will combine to create an engaging and inspiring environment that will lead and train your team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
You will be a host to our guests, adding a touch of personality and theatre to their experience, making our guests feel welcome whilst they visit The Standard; so you will need to be highly social, upbeat and friendly; confident and able to handle pressure well; thrive in a busy, high energy environment and manage multiple tasks and guests with ease.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager ideally gained in a similar high quality 'Lifestyle' restaurant or in the boutique hotel sector
- Highly motivated and pro-active; act with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
- Strong knowledge of and interest in exceptional food, drinks, and service
- Excellent understanding and experience in restaurant operations
- Strong experience and interest in training teams to deliver exceptional service and maintain consistent standards
- Display a passionate, fun, and enthusiastic approach to work to inspire and motivate the team, and create an enjoyable, cohesive, and supportive working environment
- Solid wine & beverage knowledge
- Experience with HR procedures, training & development, and compliance
- Full-time availability, flexible Monday-Sunday, late-night Thursday-Saturday
