As our Nightlife Security Supervisor, you’ll lead from the front, taking ownership of the safety, security and smooth operation of some of London's most exciting late-night spaces. From our bars and restaurants to our terraces and public areas, you’ll be a highly visible presence, overseeing a team of Nightlife Security Officers while ensuring guests enjoy a safe, welcoming and unmistakably Standard experience. This is more than managing the door. As Nightlife Security Supervisor, you'll coordinate nightly operations, support incident management, oversee venue capacities, guide emergency procedures, maintain strong relationships across the hotel, and act as a key link between the operational team and Security leadership. Whether you're briefing your team, responding to an incident, liaising with external agencies, or ensuring standards are being upheld across the property, you'll combine sound judgement, professionalism and a cool head to keep the night running seamlessly. You'll be passionate about developing people and creating a culture where safety, service and teamwork go hand in hand. With a hands-on leadership style, you'll inspire your team to deliver the highest standards of presentation, professionalism and guest engagement, helping shape a security operation that is proactive, modern and anything but Standard.
Do you have what it takes to be our Nightlife Security Supervisor? While we take our guests' safety seriously, we don't take ourselves too seriously. We're looking for a confident leader with proven experience in nightlife security, who can balance operational excellence with exceptional guest service.
- Previous experience in a Security Team Leader, Supervisor or similar leadership role within a luxury lifestyle hotel, private members' club, or high-volume nightlife venue.
- Strong experience working in late-night hospitality, including venue and door supervision.
- A natural leader who can motivate, coach and develop high-performing security teams.
- Calm under pressure with excellent decision-making and incident management skills.
- Highly professional, proactive and approachable, with a guest-first mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across the business and external agencies.
- Flexible to work evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays in line with business needs.
- Valid SIA Licence essential; additional qualifications including First Aid, CCTV, Fire Marshal, Personal Licence and Health & Safety are highly desirable.
