Your role
As a Breakfast Waiter at The Standard, London, you will become part of an exceptional restaurants team. You will be passionate about service, very well organised with an exceptional working knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, and the order of service.
You will have a deep appreciation and knowledge of our menu and bar offering to confidently host our guests and enhance their experience, so you need to be highly social, upbeat, and friendly; confident and able to handle pressure well; thrive in a busy high-volume, high-energy environment and manage multiple tasks and guests with ease.
Do you have what it takes to be a Breakfast Waiter at The Standard?
While we take every detail of design and guest experience seriously, we do not take ourselves too seriously. ‘Standard People’ are at the heart of our brand; dynamic, vivid, and engaging.
Prior experience as a Waiter is essential for this role. You will also have an uncompromised and natural flair for service and be able to build genuine relationships with guests. You will also need…
- The ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, or destination restaurant
- Confident in restaurant operations and the order of service, with a passion for food and drinks
- Highly social, motivated, and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
- Available full-time with full flexibility to work Monday–Sunday
- Prior experience using Simphony epos is advantageous however full training will be given
- Any relevant qualifications such as WSET are advantageous but not essential
