Bartender [Sweeties]
Join The Standard, London and become part of the Sweeties team, serving cocktails and creating an exciting nightlife experience.
Responsibilities
- Craft and serve cocktails, spirits, champagne, and quality wines, making recommendations based on guests’ preferences.
- Set up and maintain bar and event areas, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience, maintaining a social, upbeat, and friendly attitude in a high‑energy, high‑volume environment.
- Work 30–40 hours per week, Wednesday–Saturday evenings and late night (Thursday–Saturday until 3 am).
- Assist in cocktail prep and implement bar operations steps.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Cocktail Bartender in a busy bar, hotel or destination cocktail bar.
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails and the London bar scene.
- Ability to build genuine relationships with guests and work with cross‑department teams.
- Proficiency with POS systems, preferably SevenRooms.
- Excellent communication, professional and polite in all interactions.
- Open to diverse backgrounds; applications from arts, music, entertainment are welcomed.
Benefits
- Starting rate of £15.82 per hour (incl. Tronc), increasing to £16.32 per hour after probation.
