Our restaurants, bars and rooftop terraces are legendary. From Isla’s Garden setting to Double Standard’s vibrant energy, Decimo’s skyline dining and Sweeties’ late-night scene, our venues create a high-volume, multi-outlet operation that runs from early morning through to late night.

We are now seeking a team of diverse and dynamic individuals that will capture the very essence of the Standard London to join our team as a Nightlife Security Officer.

Your role as a Nightlife Security Officer at The Standard, London, involves:

• Ensuring the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.
• Demonstrating a flexible and adaptive hands-on approach to safeguard all front and back of house areas against fire, theft or other safety hazards.
• Responding with a sense of urgency to any and all emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Undertaking a range of security patrols around the premises and dealing with various safety incidents involving guests, contractors or staff.
• Acting as a liaison with local law-enforcement, food safety and fire department agencies.
• Delivering a quality Security service with a meticulous eye for detail.
• Maintaining your team’s standards through coaching and training to achieve the highest levels of service and presentation.

To be a Nightlife Security Officer at The Standard, you should have:

• A proven track record as a Nightlife Security Officer or Security Supervisor, ideally gained in a bar, restaurant, nightclub or nightlife environment.
• Door management experience at a busy venue would be advantageous.
• A flexible approach to work hours, with expectations to work until the early hours of the morning, finishing around 3-4am over the weekends.
• A flexible approach to working days, as the hotel operates 7 days a week.
• High motivation and proactivity; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions.
• Experience across a range of management disciplines, particularly Fire, Health & Safety and Food safety.
• The ability to develop and deliver effective training to maintain consistent service and safety standards across your team.
• All candidates should hold SIA Licence, Personal Licence, First Aid, CCTV control, Fire Marshal and be qualified to a minimum of level 2 in Health & Safety.
