The Stafford London is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join its Finance team. This is a broad, hands‑on role offering strong exposure across hotel finance operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced luxury hospitality environment, maintaining a high standard of accuracy, and serving as a reliable point of contact for operational departments on day‑to‑day finance matters.
Main Duties:
- Process and review invoices for accuracy, correct approval, and appropriate documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely payments are processed to vendors.
- Maintain up-to-date vendor records and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues.
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances.
- Prepare and process employee expense reimbursements in line with company policies.
- Assist with month‑end closing by ensuring all AP transactions are recorded.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal control compliance.
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to address inquiries and ensure payment accuracy.
- Process credit card expenses and reconciliation.
- Assist on ad‑hoc projects and carry out any other duties which may be considered reasonable, and in line with the role.
