The Staffing Network is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for a busy Waste & Recycling operation in Oxford. If you're looking for steady work, weekly pay, strong weekend rates, and long-term opportunities, this role offers guaranteed hours and immediate starts with a well-established operation.
Pay Rates
- Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour
- Saturday: £23.94 per hour
- Sunday: £27.00 per hour
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Drivers must be flexible to work:
- AM Shift: 5:00am - 1:00pm
- PM Shift: 12:30pm - 7:00pm
- (Shifts are planned in advance.)
The Role
- Driving and operating a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle
- Residential and commercial waste collections
- Working alongside loaders on planned routes
- Daily vehicle checks and safe vehicle operation
- Following transport and health & safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card
- Minimum 90 days recent Class 2 driving experience
- Reliable and flexible attitude
- Waste industry experience preferred but not essential
