We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a waste and recycling team based in Leicester. New pass drivers accepted!
Location: Leicester, LE4
Pay Rate: £15.19 per hour
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay (every Friday, in arrears)
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Schedule Highlight:
- 4-day working week (Tuesday to Friday)
- 3-day weekend every week (Saturday-Monday off)
Bonus:
- £150 after 4 weeks
- £150 after 8 weeks
As a Class 2 Dustcart Driver, you will be responsible for operating a dustcart/refuse vehicle and supporting the collection of domestic waste from residential areas.
Duties include:
- Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse/dustcart vehicle safely
- Working alongside loaders on daily bin collection routes
- Emptying and returning wheelie bins to designated locations
- Ensuring all scheduled collections are completed
- Completing missed bins and any additional work where required
- Following all road safety and operational procedures
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
