The predicted salary is between 14 - 20 £ per hour.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of construction components and fittings within the UK. Due to continual growth they are looking to recruit an experienced Toolsetter to work between its facilities in the Dudley & Worcester areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting and changing progression tooling inline with production requirements.
  • Assist supervisor in shift organisation and take the lead when required.
  • Ensure proper shift handover to other setter and relay any quality issues.
  • Help supervision by making tool and coil changes.
  • Perform inspection and test duties.
  • Ensure tool-room is informed of any tooling defects via handover.
  • Ensure any defective product and associated wide coil are segregated and kept away from free issue stock.
  • To proactively coil feed, make product size and tool changes inline with production requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must have minimum 5 years previous tool setting experience ideally on progression machines.
  • Be ROSPA trained and hold current Counterbalance FLT licence.
  • A Reach FLT and Crane licence would be a big advantage.

Working Hours:

Hours of work will be days between 07:00am and 19:00pm.

Salary:

Starting hourly rate will be £17.12 per hour.
