We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Clerk / Site Checker to join our client at a busy waste recycling and landfill site. This is a key role supporting the smooth operation of the site, managing vehicle movements, and ensuring accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of lorry traffic.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate the weighbridge system to accurately record vehicle weights entering and leaving the site
- Check and verify documentation for incoming and outgoing loads
- Safely direct lorry drivers and site traffic
- Carry out site checks to ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry
- Communicate effectively with drivers, site staff, and management
Monday & Tuesday: 06:30 - 16:30 (10-hour shifts)
Initial training period: Monday to Friday (first couple of weeks)
Overtime:Overtime available depending on business needs
Training:Full training will be provided. Candidates must be available to attend Monday-Friday training during the initial onboarding period.
