The Staffing Network is a labour provider across the UK. We are hiring Forklift Drivers (Reach or Counterbalance) to work on the day or night shift in a chilled warehouse environment for our client based in Spalding, Lincolnshire.
Shift: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
Hours: 07.00 to 18.00 or 18.00 to 05.00
Pay rate:
- Days £13.47 basic, Overtime at £20.21 after 45 hours worked
- Nights £14.37 basic, Overtime at £21.55 after 45 hours worked
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pack goods for shipping and storage
- Stack items safely and efficiently
- Pick items as per the guidelines provided
- Inspect packaging for damage or defects and report any issues immediately
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, including packaging trays and surrounding areas
- Monitor product quality and remove defective products from the line
- Move goods around site and load trailers
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
- Prior experience working in a similar warehouse role
