Type of Work: Shop Fitting Joinery, Retail Outlets
Shift Patterns: Rota basis 5 days per week including weekends and bank holidays. Circa 48 hours per week.
Pay Rates
£23 ( CIS)
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures and components. This role requires proficiency with hand tools and power tools, as well as a keen eye for detail and precision, they will also have a fabulous ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, including interior office and retail projects. Typical work will include you being responsible for undertaking:
Strip Out Works
1st fix work such as stud walls, tacking, joisting and flooring.
2nd fix work such as hanging internal doors, fitting door frames, installing ironmongery and fitting skirting and architraves.
General office and retail fitouts, installing ceilings, partitions, counters, doors, retail displays
Kitchen fitting – installation of pre-made kitchen carcasses and units, fitting worktops, pelmets and integrated appliances.

Duties
- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to industry standards.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly process.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to use your own initiative and be able to problem solve.
- Ability to work under pressure and have a keen understanding of deadlines
- Experience in carpentry or joinery work is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship
- Punctuality is a key aspect.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
