We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our logistics and distribution team in the Wrexham area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing deliveries and collections across local and regional routes
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Loading and unloading goods when required
- Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle records accurately
- Adhering to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company procedures
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner with customers
- Keeping vehicles clean and roadworthy
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
Desirable Skills
- Multi-drop delivery experience
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
- Good geographical knowledge of North Wales and surrounding areas
